Blog Name & Description

Welcome to my blog!

Here you'll find my thoughts and experiences on life, poetry, topics centered on faith, health and anything else pressed upon me to speak about. All my work is original.

My aim is to create a platform for freedom of thought. Thoughts that initiate a change which becomes an action and after that a way of life. Thinking costs you nothing, not thinking can cost you everything.

Thanks for the support!

Much love,

Ya favorite writer is BACK! Show ya love by commenting - It's called, "Strength"

Strength is not defined by the size of the body you inhabit. Strength is not the power of your sex appeal cuz you pull chicks to you like a magnet. Yes that’s an old reference to an old simile metaphor, but strength is that indelible characteristic that makes you push on. Strength is the power to see the victory even when you’re in the eye of defeat. Strength is the feeling to know that even when you’re down on your knees praying and you get no answer you can still go to sleep when your rents not paid, when your car note’s late. When you go to work and it’s a job you absolutely hate. When there is no time for anything cuz you got to think of your next meal. When sometimes you get so hungry and so desperate to feed your family you’re contemplating to kill.

Sentence doesn’t make sense, just like life, I pray to you everyday, I pray to you every night! Yes, I get mad, I even dared to blame you once. But if I analyzed my situation I would have the strength to see I was the one who messed up. Strength, strength is not the power you have in the physical. Yes you’re in a relationship and your woman is weaker than you, but strength doesn’t always mean physical. Do you have the strength to listen? Do you have the strength to say you were wrong and mean it by your own admission? Do you have the strength to open the lock to her heart? And do you have the strength not to step on it, spit on it, stab it, beat it, and leave it, or steal it like a thief in the dark? Strength.

Snitching: Who Dares to Do It???

This is one of the most detrimental movements/policies that have ever existed in society. You can see it heavily in the black community and in the rap culture.

Don’t be fooled!

Black people and rap music did NOT start this. It was started by corrupt whites and organized crime. Key word: ORGANIZED. Don’t think the little idiots who pump base (cocaine) or weed and haven’t gotten caught are organized. Don’t think the people you’ve seen on BET’s American Gangster were organized.

Don’t get me wrong, they had their shit together, but organized is a TOTALLY different thing…

I’m talking about families wealthy for generations due to their illegal ventures. Families who have the authorities so deep in their pockets they’d have to pay to see the light of day. I know, you hear it in the songs about, “...Paying’ off Jake...” but that’s all a smokescreen. Cops have made their careers off of blackmail and extortion.

Cops will take your money and raid your house after promising to look the other way. This doesn’t apply to the “big fish”. For clarification, the big fish is a person or family so powerful it will take an extreme amount of work and time to bring that person or family down. The thing is, it’s no profitable to get the big fish.

See, the big fish is like a top rapper such as: Ludacris, Jay-Z, 50 Cent, Kanye or Eminem and so on. The big fish, like these rappers has proven their ability to generate extreme revenue. It would make no sense to drop these rappers and take a loss, just like it would make no sense to catch the big fish.

Why cut off payments in the hundreds of thousands monthly when it is untaxed money? They won’t catch the big fish but what they will do is ask the big fish to throw some little fish, i.e. YOU (crack dealer, weed seller, or low level crime boss). You think you bigtime? You’re not bigtime, if you were the cops would be asking YOU for suspects.

Which brings me to my point: snitching.

It was once advocated as a punk move but only amongst wrongdoers. Now you have people saying this who have no idea the evil that exists in the statement, “stop snitching!” This statement lets killers walk free, allows a drug dealer to continue putting filth in the streets. Why is it marketed so heavily in the black community? That’s because black people have a tendency to take something negative and evil and TRY to own it. Ever heard of the word, “nigga”? I rest my case…

The media markets it to us because they want us to destroy ourselves. In a racist world, the best way to be racist is in the shadows. PLEASE don’t talk about OBAMA being in office like that changes things. IT DOESN’T!!! He’s in there to serve a purpose only God and those that put him there understand. He’s not the Great Black Hope! It most certainly isn’t the end of racism. I told you earlier there’s no money in stopping it. The money is in letting it continue. How many people are going to lie and say they didn’t see anything or turn their head?

I’m sick of this stop snitching propaganda. If anybody is hurt or killed around me (God forbid) best believe I’m doing everything in my power to have them put away!

If you don’t like that, then you have a serious problem.

When are we going to stop this???

Poetic License

So I’m driving as it came to me. No, rather rain through me. Wet winter day no snow what’s this guy in the other lane doing? You can’t merge if there is no clear path. I can’t slow down because I’ll slide if I push the break instead of the gas. Old ladies going 30 on the highway like it’s okay. Upon further thought I guess she didn’t wanna hydroplane. Programming the station to play my favorite songs on the iPod when I realize something that makes me say oh my God! Not an almost accident or a cop looking for a traffic ticket. Just an idiot who cut me off with no turn signal blinking. Whether it be road rage or a blown assignment on a grand stage. Everytime I write I’m winning the super bowl to put it plain. So the inspiration for this came at a whim. If you want to test whether I’m legit at this, here’s my license and registration.

What do you think of it?

See this is the damn problem, everybody tryin to talk like they in the industry instead of appreciating the music, passing on the gossip & dropping sales numbers like you understand all the mechanics for real.

It used to be 100% street music now its just pop music with an edge.
